Walmart + membership normally $98. Mine just renewed. In the account details I chose to cancel, and was offered $50 in Walmart cash to keep the membership.

The best thing to do is to track the renewal date on the Walmart + website. Then, cancel it a few days to a week before it automatically renews. If they are going to offer you anything to keep it, they'll do it immediately when you try to cancel.
plus tips baby. $30 minimum? or can i just order a cucumber for 50 cents for a single delivery?
No tips, grocery orders require a $25 or $35 min to be free delivery. MERCHANDISE like clothes, HBA, office, electronics, etc ship free to home no matter the price. So if there's an items that IS MARKED SHIPPING vs Delivery, it ships free, even if it is 70 cents.
Be warned, I had a $49 deal on my account and they charged me the full $98
what was the exact deal? was it to get $49 walmart cash? That doesn't mean you pay $49, you pay $98 and you get $49 in Walmart cash to use.
Walmart DOES NOT just charge people $98 for a $49 membership promo, it would show at checkout how much your CC is being charged. I have the feeling you misunderstood what you were buying.
It said $49 renewal, but when it actually renewed.. It's $98
our showed a renewal date and $49. I assumed it was because we only paid $49 last year. I went into the account details and it showed when the sub would renew, and the renewal price of $98.
I chose to cancel the sub, I was not offered a reduced rate or the walmart cash promo. We now have not sub and waiting for a deal to come along.

OP's title is very misleading. IT IS $98, not $50

buy the Walmart+ subscription for $98 and then get a $49 credit. Thus, the price of the Walmart+ subscription is $49.
