Is it too much to hope for 32gb ram for this spec?

I would wait for BF sale at this point if you are thinking of these. I sent one back because the glossy OLED was too reflective for daily duty in an averagely lit room. Even in less than average light if you have a window behind you it WILL reflect.

Yeah, I'm very bummed that all the laptop makers are moving to glossy OLEDs. Would love to still have the option of good quality matte IPS which is still my preferred screen type. Not as vibrant but easier on the eyes and no reflection/glare problem.

Mini LED is a great compromise for Best of both worlds. Check out Razor Blade 16 or Asus Zephyrus g14.

Anyone know if these come with one SODIMM, or if you need to buy a pair to upgrade?

Thanks, I know it has two slots. I'm just wondering if it comes 1x16gb or 2x8gb. The description makes it seem like it's just 1 sodimm which makes upgrading easier.

It comes with 1x 16GB SO-DIMM DDR5-5600 pre installed and you can upgrade to 16x2 sticks for a total of 32 gigs.

I am really pissed why manufacturers can't upload clear information on all listings 😑

Ugh, I just got the Walmart 5060 for $999 before tax, this has a 5070, better CPU, and increased storage, I was able to get chat to add the welcome coupon and stacked my military which brought it down to $1165, then there's a 10% CB I went through as well. Looks like I'll be returning the Walmart/AntOnline.

Hi - to confirm, were you able to stack 4 coupons total on this order?

AMDSAVE10
BUYMORELENOVO
Welcome coupon through Chat (was this 5%)?
Military coupon (was this 5%)

Was the welcome coupon added to the Cart by chat before you ordered, or did you receive an adjustment after order?
And did the CB site start with R?

This looks like a crazy good deal for a 5070 laptop. I might buy!

The mobile 5070, like the 5060 and 5050, utilizes a 128 bit bus and 8gb VRAM. If possible, get the 5070 Ti for the 192 bit/12gb configuration. There have been laptops with the Ti model in the $1400-1500 range. Definitely worth the upgrade especially if you plan to keep the laptop more than a couple of years

Yes the first two were automatically on the listing, I tried adding ExtraFive but it ended up replacing the AMD code and added more to the final cost, so I put the AMD code back. I wasn't able to get the ID me prompt to show at first, but realized I was in my employers benefit Lenovo store and had to switch to the public storefront, I was then able to add the ID me military, which took 5% off. I signed up for the email and received one about two hours later, but the code would not take at all, the chat agent was very kind and made a custom order but followed the promotion terms exactly for the welcome code meaning it was $50 off $1000, this brought the total before tax price to $1165. As for the CB, yes it did, but since the order was a customs invoice, I had to click it from my email and convert it to an order, this wouldn't let the proper ref flow occur so I had to download the app, login, and enable the extension in safari, then use the extension to activate the CB, then I got a confirmation email a couple hours later confirming that I would receive the 10% pretax back.
