I wouldn't pay much more but I think I got the game(disc) for $12 on eBay. Expansion was $14.99 on sale. Not really worth it tbh. Prob just the base game. I play without an online sub. Gets boring once you hit end game. Not enough going on. Just grinding like this isn't meta anymore.

Screw Blizzard and their mandatory Battlepass account.

Can't play offline and can't save the single player campaign to the system, only online server saves.

Lost my level 41 player to a glitch on their part. Some of us have busy lives and very limited time to game. What a stupid decision to forbid system campaign saves.

NEVER buying a Blizzard game again. They don't respect their consumer.

For 20 bucks it's worth it. They keep seasons going so you can check back once in a while for new content.

The issue with this game as a Diablo Fans is this team will remove anything that is deemed to be fun by players.

For example - Sorc teleport, if you gear it run, you can just teleport it all over the place. Players love it. But on this coming patch, they add a 5 second delay to the skill. Now, the skill is dead. No one will use it.

The second issue is lack of variable build selection. All barbarian builds require the triple shouts and WOTB/COTA. That's 4 out of 6 skill slots.

i did a few open beta of IV till lvl.20 and found it more repetitive than III was (only made it halfway thru III after getting it half price). despite having to play online, there does not seem to be much of a IV community. graphic in IV are nice if you have the low-mid GPU card to enjoy them. III runs fine on my igpu but is not as "dark" immersive as II or IV, and gear options are more complex and deep than II making III well worth it on sale.

lets just say torchlight 3 was supposed to be a MOBA, then MMO, then last min, got changed back into sequel -- it's design is fragmented, -- you can look at reviews for specifics , but i would start with torchlight 2.
