Holy crap this is horrible value. Looking through the pieces, none of these kits include the sensors, motors or receivers that are necessary for Lego League.

It's just Technic pieces and normal Lego or Duplo pieces, with access to the Lego education site, which has some activities that are loosely organized around STEM ideas. I'm pretty sure the site is free to access too, so it's just pretty packaging so it looks nice in a classroom.

Tried the code on Spike Prime; no luck. The rest of these are garbage.

These are not for home use. For everyone that says these are not worth it: you are not the target audience. You aren't just paying for the bricks , you are paying for the lesson plans/activities and everything included in the LEGO Education website. Yes, access to the website is "free" (much better than having to deal with accounts and "code in a box") but the content must be funded somehow. And yes you also get a nicely organized and stackable box that is awesome for a classroom setting.

I'm a STEM teacher and use these sets. Not as often as the SPIKE (robotics) sets, but then again those are 2-3x the cost and require some kind of screen device for the programming (tablet/computer).
