It weighed at least 10 pounds in LA and the BF (now Husband) and I would plot our Christmas freebie shenanigans for HOURS on Sunday before the BIG BF!!! THEN we had to cross reference EVERYTHING with FW and SD! THEN make the spreadsheet. I had my NOW FIL ask us how we could afford to get him a 36" TV (which was HUUUGE at the time for Xmas!)
All it took was both of us showing up, to the Circuit City 3 blocks from our apartment after dinner, getting wristbands for line the next morning, then showing up with cocoa about 15 minutes before the store opened, selling wristbands for other items we didn't want and using the $$$ we made on wristbands to buy the stuff we DID want. Without waiting in line at all. Then going all over town scoring more "deals" like free crockpots, fire pits and hunting knives. THEN getting whatever hot toy was hitting and selling THAT to fund the rest of Xmas.
Good times, good times.
