Probably 350 watt. 14" tires are weird & battery is small. Be okay for kids.

A 500 watt is what's common at the 20 mph speeds

I assume you are talking about a paid for plan. First it is not a warranty, it is purchase protection plan which is weasel words that sell you insurance. It is never smart to pay for insurance on low value items. If spending $250 on a ebike puts you in place where you can not recover from the loss if it breaks it is best just to not not buy the bike as you will likely end up not only losing the value of the bike but waste more dollars on plan that covers nothing.

If you read the terms of that "warranty" you will see that it has so many clauses that let them deny you coverage for just about anything. You will have no more coverage than if you buy form temu or ali. Extended warranties are one of the worst ripoffs of consumers there is. The bike is not sold by walmart and is not returnable to store. It is the same crappy plans they sell in the cell phones store that make corporations billions.
Extended warranties do not pay for themselves they transfer wealth from consumer to corporations to the tune of 137 billion last year. The timeshare industry has about the same reputation.

There is going to be risk anywhere you buy and It is not good thing make people think they will get real coverage when paying the extra for the coverage or buying from Walmart with them only acting a checkout service and not offering the returns and warranty you do get if you buy from Walmart. You do not get that buying the bike from Walmart as it is not sold by them but a third party. They just handle the financial transaction and take a cut

Look at the section under what is not covered and you will see they have so many clauses that give them outs to not cover you that the policy is no more than piece of paper tat you pay $30 for.
