Bleach does start losing effectiveness as it sits on the shelf, even if it's still sealed.
It technically expires one year after manufacturing. It's usually not a huge deal since you can just use more to make up for it, but it's something to think about if you need to hit a precise concentration for disinfection.
Pinch a penny pool sells 12 percent bleach in 2.5 gallon jugs.
SD needs more useful product info, especially with bleach products
And I think it is a more reasonable price for everyday use.
If it is too strong dilute with water, but for pool use it be great stuff
