Double check before you do it. Got a thing in the mail saying "Get a $250 Gift Card With Approval". Only gave $60. Rude customer service person keeps repeating "It says get UP to a $250 gift card" which is not true.

Not true, I cancelled Chase Amazon Visa earlier this year. Just applied again for the $250 gift card, approved and gift card balance immediately reflecting the $250.

This may be the only credit card bonus that will get you a 1099, because this isn't a rebate from purchases, it's a sign up bonus like from a bank.
