Just FYI I got the bamboo and it started bubbling within a month. Got a replacement and that also started bubbling.

Just a heads up that the height range for both models is 28.2" - 45.7". The minimum height may be an issue for shorter folks, unless you add a keyboard tray. I've noticed the models with a greater height range are more expensive, probably because they use the 3-stage mechanism instead of 2-stage.

24 inches is literally the bare minimum depth I would ever consider for a desk for "casual" computer users- and for me personally (and anyone who spends 1+ hours at their computer daily, I would never go below 28 inches. A monitor and keyboard takes up way more space than you might expect and you will very quickly regret getting too shallow of a desk.

Second this. I'm 5'9 and I own both kinds. 28 inch is slightly higher than optimal height for me, and I had to get a keyboard tray to make the keyboard a bit lower. But keyboard tray doesn't work well if your keyboard is a bit higher, like advantage2 or some other ergonomic ones. And those keyboards would require a lower desk height, to keep your hands at the same height when sitting. And the tray isn't as stable as the desk top itself. It's best to spend a few minutes to learn what's the most ergonomic sitting position so you can work out the best desk height for you, before making the purchase.

Does anyone know if there has enough room in the back & underside (and around the back corner) with enough room that I can clamp a LG 32" Ultrafine Ergo Monitor (that's the clamp style) that has 4 inch on the top & 3.5 inches where the round clamp tightens down without hitting any sort of underside support structure?

I didn't have the bubbling issue. But i have had issues with cracking. I got a bunch of cracks in many places running along the grain of the bamboo. And i added their PC tower holder. And the bracket ripped out of the bamboo and my PC came crashing to the floor.

However i don't know if the tower holder was recommended for use with the bamboo top or not. Looks like they stopped making the one i have. But they make a newer model. Which I wouldn't recommend if you have the bamboo top.

The supports are in the center of the desk. Basically "I" shaped. And should be out of the way of most clamps.

I imagine you'd want a monitor arm with a more shallow desk to get more usable space. I'm debating between this or one of the desks that have the secondary shelf you can put your screens on and stash keyboard etc under. Though that monitors may end up being too high then.
