Definitely not a good idea to buy a charger with a cable that is a wear item. The cable and/or end will eventually stop working and then your stuck with carrying around a large charger with a useless cable.

I bought one of these and like it. Retractable is handy to leave it out in living space without it being clutter. Has enough power for a laptop and also pps for phones.

"Likely" based on the same rebranded white-labeled product listings with 90%+ 4/5+ 100+ reviews without the "frequently refunded" banner that the poster accused the product of.Not doubting your non-80w claim, but it successfully powers my S24 at super fast charging mode, which means it is receiving the maximum wattage 25 and good enough for me. The wattage detected when plugged into the meter and my macbook is 33w, though may be throttled by BMS because the laptop is at 75%. With your logic I could also claim the advertised charger claiming 67w is could also be false advertising given its size until proven
Reviews can be faked and most customers probably wouldn't even realize it's charging below the advertised wattage. Also, a 3.9 rating is pretty bad for a product that should be pretty straightforward.

The adapter advertised in this thread appears larger in size and advertised a smaller wattage. Look at any charger around 80w from reliable brands, none of them are that small. There are physical limitations to how small these can be per watt.

Mine arrived today. For the price, and packaging (all-in-1 unit), I'm keeping it. But just be mentally prepared, it is quite LARGE. About TWICE the size of my Anker Prime 67W charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4YTB56H and about the same weight. I suppose the spring loaded reel mechanism for the built-in USB cable takes up some room. But this will end up in my laptop bag when I travel anyway, and it's still a lot smaller than my Dell laptop power brick.

Mine arrived today as well. Curious, how would you keep this plugged in a *wall* socket? It's pretty weighty. Or do you only use a power strip with a charger that is as bulky & heavy as this?

It's got a claimed 30,000 retractions. If you use it 10 times a day, that's 8 years. At the rate technology moves, I don't see this being in use in 8 years.

Since I have one I'll give my answer - I use this on a horizontal power strip. I don't think I've tried into the wall yet. Here in my office I only have horizontal plugs so I can't try.

67W may not be enough for some laptops.

Reviews say the cable stops retracting afterwhile.
I just bought this and the cable won't retract fully after the very first time I've used it. And the cable is very short. I'm gonna keep it in my bag but continue to keep a cable as a primary and the retractable for emergencies only.

Thank you for the update. I'm going to avoid these deals going forward.
