Using the Samsung shop app offers tab at the bottom if I add the fold7 without scrolling down I get the $600 special discount without epp. However if I scroll too far or try to add a trade in it won't work. I tried using chat to add the trade in afterwards but couldn't get them to do it.

How has the overall longivity of the inside screens been for people? That's been my main concerns with the internal plastic folding screens.

I just need Samsung to make it a tiny bit thinner. It's almost perfect, an external screen is very usable now. I'm on a OnePlus Open and I'm really missing Dex and Watch, Buds integration.

It's a little hard to explain but after I click buy now in the offers tab if I scroll down too far on the fold7 product page, past the colors, the price jumps from 1399 to 1699..

I am not discrediting the help chat working for some but it definitely seems to be a hit and miss kind of deal. I tried to use the chat to get the recent S25 Ultra deal. I had put one in my cart the day before at the promotional price and it had gone up the next day when I checked again. The chat was a complete waste of time for me. I always try to be extremely polite but they had no idea what I was talking about with the promotions that had been live the day before. Instead, they just kept telling me that their promo offers can end suddenly and that is what makes them so special and why you want to take advantage of it when it occurs. I had to ask the same questions multiple times to get a straightforward answer. He kept asking questions about the promo as if there was some hope that he would apply it but finally I got him to answer if that was the case and he told me that I missed the promo and he didn't have the ability to give me that promo price lol.

Later that day, the promo was live again. I hate customer service chats but just like any customer service experience, some of them will be good and some will be worthless. Just don't give up if you get a lemon of an agent. I never tried again but I've been too busy to check on the promo too. Hopefully others don't give up so easily.

I love the thinness and bigger size of fold7 over my fold6 but really want a bigger battery. Maybe fold8 will have the new battery tech to pull it off. I got lucky trading in my Fold4 to fold6 for about $250. Don't really want to spend $500+ to upgrade.

Not sure what happened but there were even lower prices shown in the app a few days ago [reddit.com]. Potentially could've been black friday pricing? Couldn't actually check out with them.
