Pflueger released their new President lineup so this outgoing gen President is on sale which was also released not too long ago. This isn't the lowest price ever, but still a decent price. Although some reviewers mentioned that they received older gen President while expecting the newer one, so if you do get older one and would like a newer version then returns are accepted until January 31st, 2026.

The older ones are actually better, they have a reverse switch, and subjectively look better. I have several of them and really like them.

Correct. Discrepancy between the product description and detailed specifications confuses people as one directs to the newer gen and the other one refers to the older gen, then the pictures show the older gen.
