Personally have this and used it for 2 years now. Net is big enough for most fishes I catch. Telescoping rod helps with storage in smaller boat. Rubber nets are easier to deal with and less tangle versus nylon nets.

Don't buy rubber coated nets because the rubber adds a lot of weight to the end of your pole making the nets feel very very heavy. Even a strong person will have difficulty managing this net at full stretch.

Thought rubber coated helps with easier fish release ?

Exactly why I like them, especially good at least lure snags. Treble hooks and rope nets get tangled imo.

The rubber coated nets are purported to be easier on your catch but if you don't have the strength to pick the fish up out the water at full extend and not drag them across the rocks. The rubber adds a LOT of weight to the end of the net which makes them very very difficult to handle at full extend with a fish in the net.
