Major issue with these. I have 2. The flood light constantly disconnects from the camera every week or two. Recovery is accomplished by physically disconnecting the camera from the light (a USB terminated connection). I also have the prior generation that does not have the issue. This is a known problem that the company has not rectified to my knowledge.

Major issue with these. I have 2. The flood light constantly disconnects from the camera every week or two. Recovery is accomplished by physically disconnecting the camera from the light (a USB terminated connection). I also have the prior generation that does not have the issue. This is a known problem that the company has not rectified to my knowledge.

Are you sure it is not just your unit being defective?

Blink Outdoor cameras take longer to connect live than Ring. Always been the issue.

I do not recommend these. I have same problem as the guy that has two. Devices disconnect often. Contacted support and they just asked me to do what I was doing already (unplugging), to remove them from blink account and add them back would fix problem but it didn't, you can't even return as amazon tries to give you another options. At the end I just put them back in its boxes and are there collecting dust and bought 4 motion sensor solar LEDs for $20

I have a full Blink setup with their wireless cams around the yard and their wired floodlight with camera. I thought being in the system the floodlight will turn on when any of the cameras will detect motion. But sadly that's not the case; the floodlight only triggers when it detects motion via it's own camera and the range for that is pretty limited. I wish there were a programmable system that could trigger lights on when any of the cameras on that system detect motion.

Same experience with Blink support. After reinstall, problem lingers.

Dumb, $99 a year from Ring for 20+ cameras. You can't even run a platform that cheap.

Good deal but becareful these have a bug where the flood light won't work and blink hasn't fixed it in 12 months

They acknowledge the bug and have no time table for fixing it

Go with Eufy. I have their system with the base and I pay no subscription and get 24 hour recording and live views from the app. Subscriptions are silly for this stuff.
