As someone on the Makita tool platform THESE are the bits to get if you want your bits and their case to match your tools.
Makita's black bits are brittle and not rugged at all. For my money, I still prefer Dewalt and Bosch bits BY FAR over Makita. And around the "end of the year holidays", these other brands offer a larger variety of discounted kits as well. BUT, if matching your bits to your tools is important to you, these silver Makita bit kits are by far their better bits., and this kit is a solid value.

All my power tools are Milwaukee but all my bits are XPS. I feel they are the most durable.
