It's not gonna work very well without the pressure washer.

This AutoCraft foam cannon and pressure washer gun is mainly valued as a cheap way to add foam washing to a pressure washer setup. The kit is described as working with most electric and gas pressure washers, with a minimum 2.0 GPM and over 1,000 PSI, and the included five nozzle tips add flexibility. The big catch is compatibility, since it uses a Metric M22 14 mm connector and will not fit a garden hose or 3 8 inch hose setup. Foam results also depend on dilution and the right shampoo, so it is best suited to pressure washer owners who already have the needed connection.

I was able to get the price on store pickup yesterday, and it indicated that the item was ready for pickup (store 9298). However, when I arrived, I was told that they are not allowed to sell it at the listed price and that I would have to pay $51 for it. Something about them getting an alert this morning that the price was wrong. I then looked and saw that I had received an email saying it was canceled just before I arrived.

Update: I placed another order with a different store in the same small city, and they fulfilled it without question. But I didn't wait to get that one... i went as soon as i got the update that it was ready. The receipt said it was $7-$8, even tho the email said $11ish.

Any pressure washer?
Per the product details on the site, they gave that info...Autocraft Foam Cannon can greatly help you to wash your vehicles or equipment. It requires pressure washer to have minimum 2.0GPM flow & over 1000PSI pressure to make it work. The working pressure is 2,175PSI (150bar) and the maximum pressure is 4,350PSI (300bar). So it should work on most electric and gasoline powered pressure washers.

It's not going to work well with a hose. There's a reason why all foam cannons are made for pressure washers. You need the pressure to create the foam.I have a foam cannon with a pressure washer and it works well, but to be honest with you, I don't even use it anymore. It really doesn't make washing your car any easier, better, or safer. In the end, you are still going to need to use a cloth or wipe to wash the car. It's not like you can just apply and rinse (well you can if you like wash your car twice a week when the car is barely dirty). You also end up using way more soap than normal.
Well to be fair "foam" is designed for less contact with the car.So ideally you should already have protection on the car so the foam does the "washing" then rinse it off.If you go mudding or let dirt cake on, yes you may have to wash the car a bit. When I need to this I go through several towels, I never use a "mitt" style cleaner. If you do rinse often as you go imo.

Anyone looking for a decent inexpensive PW, this deal just popped up.
I use the 1900 version, doubt this will be too much different.

Looks like they're taking an additional 20% off their clearance prices. Current clearance items are primarily car detailing products... walked out of there with a ridiculous amount of stuff for $40
