per rting - The Samsung S90D OLED (QD-OLED version) is better than the Samsung S85F OLED (QD-OLED version). Although the TVs are similar overall, the S90D is much brighter in HDR, so highlights pop out more to the viewer, and it delivers a more complete HDR experience. The S90D also supports 144Hz, which is great for PC gamers.

I got the 65" s90d last year and I love it, incredibly thin tv that makes playing on my ps5 and watching films incredible.

do you have evidence of this or is this an assumption or a personal anecdote?

I've had very good luck with woot through dozens of purchases. there have been a couple of errors which they were quick to rectify.

What am I missing with the downvotes?
This is $200 less than it was 4 days ago and that has a +13?

Woot has become a scam lately. Products hit or miss. Sometimes they sell open box or used stuff as new too.
No, it's not exactly a scam, but I agree it is concerning.

My personal anecdote comes from buying a bunch of Apple MagSafe chargers. Every single one a revived was open despite being noted as new. When I reached out to woot they offered me half my money back, which I took, because at that point it wasn't worth my effort to return. I documented that in the slickdeals posting too.

Obviously that's a single incident but it was six items that I bought, so it was pretty surprising. I've read of other cases like this, but it's my first bad experience. Everything else I've bought there seemed fine.

my Sony died in less than two years. I'm replacing it with an LG C5 but was considering the Samsung. Why are you so against the Samsung?
I'd take S90D over my LG any day. LGs remote is terrible and interface is slow. I have 55 Samsung in my family room and the remote is very intuitive and interface is super fast. LG OLED in my living room is slow and remote is clunky and not cery good

Bought a refurbished Hisense ac a while back and it came making a terrible noise, contacted them twice about the issue and never received a response.

I didn't have time to mess with it at the time and my bank wouldn't allow a charge back so I ended up tearing it apart months later and having to glue the blower housing back together.

The unit was beat, beyond normal use, I've never had an issue with new but I'll never buy anything refurbished from them again.

Have this and LOVE it. Hard to watch TV in my living room without noticing the difference in vivid colors, and deep blacks.

And these types of comments are why I continue to stay with my '11 Sony 55" NX720 (3D!). Continues to run like a champ, and yes, there is blooming but I don't pay any attention to it.

With EPP, you can get the newer model (S90F) 77" direct from Samsung for just $200 more ($1699)

Trust me, I have a s90d, I'd pick LG or even better, Sony equivalents, over this any day. I'll trade you guys my s90d 65" for LG or Sony equivalents in a heartbeat.
Not sure why they downvoted you as you raised valid point, but I love my LG G5. Though it is kind of more expensive but I doubt this Sammy's model can compete with it.

Are referring to the issues with faulty power supply boards or performance??
It has been rated slightly above the LG G4 & C5.
Do you mind sharing whose ratings you're talking about? I want to research a little before deciding. TIA.
