I somehow finally purchased an iPhone 14 with the credit and paid the difference but they refused to ship the phone for months while holding my money. If I cancelled the order, I would lose the $200 credit because it's non-refundable and those reps were pushing me to cancel it since the fulfillment center hasn't shipped it. So I was in a dilemma because I desperately needed a phone ATM.
I've always had to go through the FCC to fix every single issue I've had, including honoring the $30 promo price for the $65 plan. I couldn't go to FCC because of the shutdown. So I opened a BBB case and the rep called to help me place the order. Phone was finally shipped in two days.
When I got the phone, I called more than 10 times asking if there would be any price change on my original $35 plan. They all said no, you're good, this will be a different plan.I activated the phone and boom, my plan price changed to $65. It was like, "Surprise! Surprise!! We caught you!". I immediately port out to Google Fi same second, same minute I discovered it.
Sorry it was off topic and long.
