I went to a store and they asked me to pay $380 which includes (tax, activation charge, 1 month plan - 65+5, sim card) 😂. Iphone 13 $340. Both the phones were displayed as "phone on us" in the store.
I said thank for the price and moved away.

I got this deal yesterday, came out to $272 total. Store only had one 16e in stock. Ported Google Voice number. Porting is still not complete but got the confirmation instantly from GV porting is in process. Got another confirmation call from Total Wireless that porting is confirmed and will be completed on the 18th.

Price breakdown? Wondering what makes it more than 185

Just did this deal today and ported over a voice only tello number that i had set up for <$6. Total out the door was $293 for me (huge sales tax in Los Angeles County/CA). Was able to do the deal at a Total Wireless kiosk. In and out in 15 min. Big step up from my old iphone 12.

Could you please confirm the unlock policy? Is it 60 days or more? A store representative mentioned it's 1 year, so I want to verify.

60 days based on this link https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/wps/portal/home/
"For cellphones Activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone is eligible for unlocking after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service. "

Why is everyone is porting in an unused number rather than just porting in your actual number and then porting it back out at the end of 3 months? What am I missing?

Because most people are only getting this to get the phone unlocked to move to their current plans

I currently have tracfone and was told in the store that tracfone number can't be ported to total wireless since it is same family. If I port out my number to boost/cricket/something else, will I then be able to port it to total wireless in 2-3 days? Is there any time restriction?

So the cost of the service is $185. The total is $260-280. When I purchased one in store from Walmart on the Straight Talk promo the total tax was $35.05. So the rest, roughly $40 to $60 is the activation fee? Also, the WM deal does not require a port in or ID verification but it does require adding an extra month of service. A little more expensive but less hassle than going into a Total wireless store. I say this from experience.

Update from my comment on Page 7.
I got one hell of a deal from the Total Wireless store in Dunellen, NJ!
I grabbed a $5 ESIM Plan from InfiMobile to see if this number would be eligible to port in.
They said they never had anyone try to port from that service before, so they said they would try it if i came in.

So I went there last night, the number was eligible for port in, but the ID Verification wasnt going through, so I told them i'd come back today to try and I did.
So at first the ID Verification wasnt working, but they were told to try a different method by using google chrome(i guess instead of the app they were using on the computer), and that went through fine that way.

So after all the trials and tribulations, I got the phone with 3 months of the $60 plan, for $160 out the door price.
They had a promotion at this store(not sure if its everywhere, but this store just opened 4 months ago), where they give you 1 month free, so I only paid for 2 months service, activation and tax.
Receipt is attached for proof

The gentleman I had, his name was Krunal, was awesome!
He was super friendly and hospitable.
He hooked me up with a free phone case and wireless earbuds(non brand name)

I would recommend this store and working with Krunal if you're in the same area.
Amazing deal!

Same here. Been trying to fix one of my lines and it's just an endless loop via chat.
I bought Iphone 14 from them on 7/12 and it took 4 months to get it unlocked. They had different imei on my account than the iphone that was activated. after 2 months they corrected account but did not want to unlock it claiming that it is different phone so I need to pay extra 2 months. finally unlocked on 11/17 after 4 months.
