VEVOR [vevor.com] has a Black Friday Sale on their fluid extractors.
Apply 8% off coupon code VVAFFSEP8 for additional savings (Note that the $5 new customer coupon can only be used on $99+ orders).

Fluid Extractors on sale:
The main use for these fluid extractors is to change the motor oil in your car. Without having to get under your car to remove the oil drain plug, you can use this pump to empty used motor oil from the oil dipstick tube. Then perform your normal oil change maintenance routine (i.e., change your oil filter and add new motor oil).

FWIW, Lowe's won't price match because this is a seasonal Black Friday price.

yeah works pretty well. does your car have an oil stick? or a tube to connect this to? some cars engineered this into their engines.
get the one with shop air. the pumps fail

Not likely to be an unimpeded path from the oil dipstick to the bottom of the oil pan, and a lot of cars still have oil filters on the bottom of the engine. Might be good for making the job a lot less messy though.

I use a different brand manual pump one. They make oil changes easier. You still need to deal with the oil filter mess, but there's no worry about the drain plug, crush washer, etc.
If I were to buy again, I'd get the pneumatic version to hook up to an air compressor.

Might snag this for industrial gearboxes in hard to reach places. Have their hydraulic bearing puller and use it in a an industrial setting with no issues.

It does work, but I don't see the point of using it unless you don't change your oil filter when changing motor oil. You still need to go underneath the vehicle to change the oil filter.

Yeah, it'll probably leave a quart or two of old oil behind if you don't remove the drain plug afterwards. Mainly, I could see how it's less mess with less oil splashing into the drain pan and not having to worry about sloshing oil out of a nearly full drain pan when pulling it out from under the car since there would be less in it.

These are also great for transmission fluid changes. I suck it out from the top fill hole. You never get all the transmission fluid out during a drain and fill anyways and I can get about 4 quarts out through the fill hole on a few on my cars.

How do you make sure the correct amount of transmission fluid is put back?

I've used a pneumatic, that also has manual. Makes oil changes so much easier and cleaner

Some vehicles have the oil filter mounted on the top or in a spot that you can get to from above.

Lots of vehicles have the oil filter in the engine compartment. It's perfect for that

Sometimes the proper amount is until it drips out the fill port.

Some of these have a measurement on the side of the container, then you just put back in the same amount you sucked out. I can't really tell if this one does or doesn't. If it doesn't you can just pour it in to a container that does have measuring lines like an old oil jug.
