FYI, the last couple times I've purchased great value chicken from WM ( a few months ago), it's been very "gamey", "rubber-like", "chewy", like it's all rib meat and didn't even taste like chicken. I dont think It was the strips, but nuggets and something else. I think I have a good tolerance for cheap food, but it was nasty. Not buying it again anytime soon.
Now I just buy this type of stuff from Costco for around the same price per pound, maybe a pinch more, but way better quality.

I'm chicken of soy too - especially unfermented.

I prefer versions costco sells. Same price or cheaper on sale, less breading

Frozen chicken products vary greatly. If you bought nuggets or patties before, those are completely different. These are actually whole chicken and honestly quite good. I normally like the Aldi tenders and these are definitely better.

There's no soy on these except for soybean oil which is a given with any frozen fried product.

Just as there's no soy in fast food burgers...

Yup
