I bought these last month when they were this price and these are great for trail running. Very good grip and comfortable, light but durable for some moderate to tough run trails.

The Greige ain't bad. Been looking for some non-hideous trail runners for a while. Using road shoes on a dirt/gravel path gets old.
How would these be for traveling (through Asian countries for example like Thailand or Vietnam)? Assuming they are comfortable for walking all day and breathable in humid weather?
I also bought these trail runners last month. The inner sidewall of both shoes collapsed after the first two runs, causing my feet to sit awkwardly bent inward. I've never seen something like this happen in 15 years of trail running. I sent them back for a replacement, but Merrel refunded me instead of replacing them.
I am talking about Nova 4. My Nova 2 lasted over 600 miles.
How do these fit? I'm right between 10.5 and 11 so buying online is a pita
I've tried these on. I have narrow/skinny feet and wear 9.5 in most sneakers, sometimes 9 in boots and dress shoes. I have Nike Pegasus Trails 9.5 that fit me perfectly (most comfortable shoes I've ever had). Compared to those, these in 9.5 are true to size in length and are a bit roomier in the forefoot/toe box than the Pegasus, but comfortable/decent fit. Hope that helps.

I wouldn't mind knowing also how well these work for long urban walks, or light hiking, instead of cross-country running.

I've tried these and they would be great/very comfortable for all day walking and are highly breathable. Good midsole cushion and lightweight. These are comparable type shoes to Nike Pegasus Trails that I have, which are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had and have been my casual walk-around shoes and light hikers for several years (not sure how Merrell's durability quality compares though). One concern I had with these shoes is that the meshy fabric upper might not be very durable (e.g. could be prone to damage from snagging) and difficult to clean. At this price though I'm very tempted to get them.
