I have 10 Blink cameras, combination of flood light, outdoor, indoor, and door bells on 2 separate Synch Module 2.
I cancelled my subscription after a year. Too many false alerts and recording that end up draining battery, and delayed recording missing out first few seconds.
When you don't have subscription, the app doesn't allow you to select multiple local recordings to delete. You have to delete one at a time, or select "delete all".
With Blink annual subscription cost went up, I took that money and bought a few 3K PTZ cameras that take microSD cards. I even use these as dash cams. Easy to pull the clips directly from app. No subscription fees. Faster remote view of camera local footage. Has better built-in human and motion detection. To use outdoor, I got outdoor solar panels, with rechargeable battery, to provide power and shield from rain.

Wow you really overhauled the system. Well I'm locked in for 3 years cause I just bought it all before the price increase. Price increased sucked because the system has so many false alerts. Constantly detecting cars even on lowest settings and that garage flood lamp is horrible that always goes offline and I know it's on blink end.

it used to be good with free space and with storage options but everything seems cloud and subscription basis

I just bought the new 4. I also am grandfathered in with the original sync module. The new one works well with my original module. Because I am grandfathered in, no fees paid for storage, etc. The new unit came with new module, but just put it away in closet.
