These systems are useful to watch the house and check in on things. I do not see the police using this to solve any crimes. But they are good for seeing who is at the door and if the dogs are tearing up the house. My Blink doorbell is having some issues - which started by me breaking the locking tab on the mount. Seems like $30 to replace/upgrade isn't bad. I have to spring for the wedge to make it work as the old wedge isn't comparable with the Upgraded Doorbell.
