Had no idea what you were talking about, so I looked into it further. Sure enough, the display on the M4 MacBook Pro is a step up beyond any of the other MacBook displays. Read all about it here:

https://9to5mac.com/2024/11/15/ap...t-display/

I love Apple products.. but hate that they hide so many of the specs. If you were to look at the differences in the screen tech description for various M-series MacBook Pro's you'd simply just get: "Liquid Retina XDR display" which in Apple speak probably just means 120hz refresh rate and extra brightness. Which is what makes this 'quiet' mini-LED upgrade so sneaky. I would have thought the primary difference between the M3 MBP Pro and the M4 MBP Pro was just processors.. and nothing had changed screen wise.

As someone who already owns a 2020 M1 MacBook Air 13" 8GB and a 2022 M2 MacBook Air 15" 8GB.. the M4 MacBook Pro 14" has always seemed like the perfect computer for me. In addition to doubling the RAM to 16GB, I'd also get more ports and better speakers.. but the biggest selling point is actually the screen. The MBP Pro 14" gets me a bigger screen than the MBA 13", but not the relatively huge screen of the MBP 15". The 14" M4 MBP Pro apparently has a significantly better screen. At this point, I guess my best bet is hoping for a clearance deal on the M4 MBP Pro 14".. now that the M5 version is on store shelves.

Here is a photo of the M4 MBP Pro vs the OLED ASUS G14. The mini LED screen on the M4 MBP Pro blows them all away:

If you click on the Product Description, it shows 32gb if RAM. If this is for the 32gb version, it's a steal, but I'm doubtful. Maybe take a screenshot and return if it's the 16g version?

It offered me a coupon code bringing it down to $586.09 (TOPFINDS25) so coupon code is working again.

it's the 16GB. 16" with 32GB is $699 though, not bad https://www.ebay.com/itm/17755031...XCAAEEX8AM

This is already a 5yr old device. How many more years can we expect out of it?
