My "lifetime" $25/mo discount was taken away, and I ported out to Total. While porting out, I got this $20 offer. I still left Verizon and I am very happy. Screw their silly games.

Swapped to Verizon 2 years ago w/ 3 lines. All three are still receiving trade in credits and just started year 3.

Got this offer on each of my 3 lines.. Had to select each line individually rather than the offers listed for "All Lines".

I was a Verizon customer for 20+ years. I went to T Mobile. Better service and support. Paid off my phone. I saved about $1000 a year. Just saying.

I'm being tempted by all these (admittedly very good) iPhone deals, but I'm really worried to accept any of them as all these loyalty discounts are for one year only. If I lose my current $20 each for the four lines, then there's $80 per month of more profit for them while I wait for V to pay off the three year "free" phone agreements. No guarantees that they will continue with the loyalty discounts after the 12 months have lapsed. I'm basing this on the relentless increases in price that I was seeing before they offered me the $20 per line a few months back. For now I'm keeping with older phones, but lower monthly discounted by the loyalty discounts. Anyone have an opinion on whether these loyalty discounts will get renewed?

Verizon is the absolute worst at clawing back money from their customers. If you're worried about the discount being dropped, then don't buy new phones from VZ. (since you put the asterisks on free, then you know the phones aren't free)
If you need newer phones, wait for the black Friday promos/phone deals to roll out, and get unlocked phones so you can change carriers with no issues.
