Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I don't understand why. It's lightweight, has good battery life, optical switches, 4Hz wireless and 8Hz wired, few maintain a high polling rate with both connection methods and just $30 bucks, what more want for this price🤔

Yeah, there may be some NZXT hate. There are several Reddit reports of people saying it's glitchy and just doesn't work well. Some blog-style reviews are more positive.

I ended up grabbing the Cherry M68 for $10 more. Polling is only 1k but I don't think I need 4 or 8, and it seems to get a better reception

I haven't run into any glitches with this mouse but the biggest con for me is the limited options for reassigning the side buttons
