The Fysetc Voron 2.4 R2 Pro CoreXY 3D Printer Kit is available for $719 (was $849) with the discount code FYS1111R2 during the 11.11 promotion. There's no tax on delivery as it's shipped from a US warehouse.
The Voron 2.4 R2 Pro is a DIY CoreXY printer kit based on the open-source Voron 2.4 design. It's aimed at people who have experience with 3D printing and
enjoy assembling high-end machines. This kit
isn't intended for beginners since you'll need to
print the plastic parts yourself and provide your own Raspberry Pi to run Klipper firmware.
Fysetc's version includes several hardware upgrades over the standard Voron 2.4. The kit comes with a CNC-machined hollow gantry and 440C stainless steel hollow rails, reducing weight and improving rigidity for high-speed printing. It uses the Stealthburner extruder with an integrated CAN board and RGBW lighting, which simplifies wiring and the Stealthburner has good cooling performance. The X and Y motors are upgraded high-temperature AB stepper motors with high temperature resistance, making the printer more reliable in enclosed builds.
Other components include a CNC aluminum Voron TAP for automatic bed leveling, a surface-milled aluminum build plate for better flatness, a Sailfish high-flow V6 hotend, and a 1000W perforated silicone heated bed. The extruder uses a nano-coated helical gear kit for smoother extrusion. There's also a DSI5 capacitive touchscreen display that connects through HDMI, running Klipper for control.
The build volume is 350x350x350 mm, and it supports typical FDM materials like PLA, ABS, ASA, and PETG. It uses 1.75 mm filament with a 0.4 mm nozzle and supports layer heights between 0.05 and 0.3 mm. The printer's electronics are based on the Fysetc Spider V3.0 mainboard, running off a 24V power system.
The kit is for builders who want the performance and precision of a Voron printer but prefer to start with a complete, pre-sourced parts set that already includes several proven upgrades from the community. There's also more information available on the printer's
Github page [github.com].

I've been on the fence going back and forth between a Trident and a 2.4, but either way, good documentation is especially important for a first build.
