I just set up the 65" version of this unit. If you have a T.V. that is older than 5 years, this T.V. will blow your socks off. I see no reason to spend any more than this. I have also setup Google TV and tested it with a few sideloaded apps as well as last nights NFL game via the Amazon Prime app. I am an advanced heavy user on Fire TV platforms and I think I will be happy with this built in version of Google TV. It has 22 GB of storage, which I was surprised by. Response time has been very good. Remote is good and port options are great. It does have a toslink outlet and 4 HDMI and a few USB. Happy Days....

Similarly, I just bought the 65 inch QM6K Pro from Costco (pro has an anti glare coating on the screen, is the only difference I could find). $600 and includes the extra 3 year warranty.

Waiting on delivery, so I cannot speak to the TV's performance

I bought the Costco version of this tv a few weeks ago for $750 and I absolutely love it! It blows away any tv I had previously. The colors are magnificent. It doesn't stand out in the same way as OLED, but it stands out way more than QLED or other types. I do not regret my decision at all.

The sound is good for tv speakers but nothing exceptional. I added a sound bar and now feel like I have a movie theater. The kids are asking for a popcorn machine 😂

Is this better than q77 in terms of picture in bright rooms? I just got a q77 over the weekend, and we struggle when there is reflection for an hour during the evening.

Great deal! This is the best tv in its price class on Rtings: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/qm6k

Note, Rtings introduced a much stricter test methodology this year, hence the "low" 7.1 rating.

I just picked up the QM5K for $600, but this tv is definitely worth the extra $100. The tv in this deal has a higher refresh rate and more local dimming zones, which means better local brightness, contrast, and picture control overall.

It's kind of hard to trust TCL again after the trash that was the s6. Soooo many people had the same exact mainboard issue that I have right now.
Conveniently, JUST when the warranty expires, the board trips and you're stuck with the purple screen of death. This can be reset, from time to time, but you'll always end up with that same PSOD when you restart the device, and typically, the 'reset' will only last a short while, meaning that eventually you're right back there
VERY well known issue, VERY poor design. Mine lasted just over 4 years

This TV has the anti glare as well. I just looked at it in store at BB.

eh, good price but you have to pay for any decent warranty. Hoping BJ's will do this price, they include a three year warranty.

Four years is pretty good. I had paid $2,500 for the Samsung 82: U8000, and that board only lasted 13 months. Never again will I purchase anything Samsung.

Yes, but BB is matte, Costco is glossy.

This TV is far superior to the Q77 in every way, including brightness and reflection handling. The Q77 is really a 2023 Q6 with a higher refresh rate for gaming. It's a bottom end TV, while this is a lower midrange TV. The Q77 only has 400-500 nits peak brightness, while the QM6K has 1,000 nits. This Costco Pro model also has the matte screen from the QM7K for even better performance in bright rooms.

No. Really it's not.My roommates TCL (an s3 IIRC) is probably lose to 12,13 years now . It's slow but it does what she needsMy OG TCL is a 55" s4 that I must have bought around 8 years ago . 2 years later I moved that to my bedroom and picked up a 65" s4 as my super old Vizio didn't cut it any more . Both of THOSE are Rick solid todaySomething is just off with how the S6 is produced or the board materials as this is a very common issue with that model
