I have both of these- one thing to note on the full-size suitcase is it's HEAVY compared to other brands. In fact, this Swiss suitcase is the heaviest one we own (vs TravelPro and American Tourister). It's great for durability and structure and wonderful to use flying Southwest or another non-budget carrier, but it's terrible to use for Frontier, Spirit, Allegiant air carriers.

The other thing is the exterior measurements for the large one when not packed full is right at 62" if it's not expanded- it's really right on the edge of max measurements, so we didn't want to chance flying with it, but you may be able to get away with it if you compress your items and not overfill it.

The carry-on is absolutely wonderful to use- super smooth to roll and easily stands up on its own as well as able to stack stuff on top while pulling stuff over the handle to hold it in place without issue of it losing control.

If you don't fly budget airlines- definitely get this set, but likely skip and look only for the carry-on if you fly budget style airlines.

decent quality suitcase. This is slightly below normal sale price. Wheels could be better. Id buy if I needed another.
