FWIW I have 2 of these monitors I bought off amazon 3 years ago (both used for $167/ea). They both arrived in unused, brand new condition as far as I could tell. I've used them over the years via both hdmi ports, DisplayPort, and DP to usb C/TB4, with 2 different PC builds as well as a Mac m4 mini, and I'm still using them.
I've never had any "blackout" or compatibility issues with either one of them--never even heard of these monitors having such issues, honestly. They're solid monitors for 4k@60hz (via hdmi 2/DP--hdmi 1 is only 30hz), but neither one has HDR, if that's important to you.
