Do it, don't hesitate. We have a brand new one, then I did two used very goods around this price like a year ago and both looked brand new. Wife took one to work and we gifted the other to her parents.

This is a fantastic price for the lattego model. Our main one is 3-4 years old and still works great. Just do the (easy) maintenance!

Agreed! We've had ours for 3-4 years too. Clean it every Sunday. Works great like it came out of the box.

Great price but I found that the maintenance is a hassle. You need to take out the whole assembly about once a week. If not then it will accumulate mold inside. I think regular espresso machines are easier to maintain as you only need to descale.

Yeah this machine has a lot of corners, you can't just quickly wash away with only water, you have to do a through cleaning weekly. This machine used to be $700+ at sale price a couple of years ago, but price keeps going down for some reason... You don't see that happening with Breville semi-automatics.

I wouldn't say it keeps going down, but it does drop to low-$200s from time to time on Amazon sales. For what it's worth I have one of these refurbs from July of 2023, which still works fine. Picked one up for a family friend. BBEs refurbs drop in price from time to time too, just not as often. Picked one up for ~$350 during early COVID days 5 years ago, still going strong.
