Tempting but keep wondering how it specifically handles hockey (white screen and fast motion). I've read very mixed reviews about this. Not to mention 720p or 1080i TV media

Same here. Waiting for the 98" If it goes back to its all time low I'm in for sure plus I want a new sound bar.

$3k is the lowest I've seen it. Less would be better!

Wouldn't buying it now make more sense? If it goes down for black friday, can't you do an exchange just by bringing in the receipt?

I bit on the $1099 85 inch QN90D from Sam's Club but this is one one I wanted. The QN90D has visible blooming you can tell. It's a very nice TV but you can see the blooming in many situations like around football players in white jerseys on green grass.
Would it make sense to swap for the TCL for the extra $700? or will it have the same issues?

I'll buy your organ as long as it's useful. Which organ are we talking about?

A liver that's got about 12% useful life remaining. No hepatitis though.

Wait one more year if you can for Dolby vision II. I would hate to upgrade and have a big release like that come out just after.

There's always something just around the corner, no matter when/what you upgrade. Even more so with tech.

I'm mainly concerned with streaming. Granted, I'm coming from a 2019 edge lit Samsung, but most of the TV we have on (my wife) is reality shows and whatnot. I feel like as long as it's not worse than that, it would be gravy for me.

Rtings says model has terrible direct reflection handling I was surprised to see that it otherwise is on par with the 2025 Samsung QN90F. There's some real competition in this price band now!
