1. Bluetooth 4.0, which leads to the second fatal flaw,

The aforementioned flaws, are critical flaws. Bluetooth version 4.0 cannot be compared to the base 5.0 version much less the newer 5.3 and 5.4 models (assuming the device your connecting to has those versions).
Bluetooth is backwards compatible, but those two flaws indicate that this is a much older device, and while they might have been "great" when compared to their contemporaries, its no longer a fair comparison against these newer headphones made by baseus.
Baseus headphones are quality headphones at a low price. I own several and they are closer to Bose sound profiles than Sony (not as much bass, but good even spread) - meaning if you like pop or rock music, you aren't going to like these as much as you would a Sony branded headset
JBL is close to sony, but it's like an 85/100 whereas sonys are 95/100 on that scale.

This one that just popped up on fp is also a pretty good $50 pair as well.
