I have one of these and it works well. I've got it up to about 100 watts on a good day. Used it at burning Man this year. A second one would great but I don't need four more.

You think panels will get cheaper given the situation with china?

This is cheap but I've bought other Eco-worthy panels before because they were cheap. They consistently under perform panels I have from other manufacturers by a pretty substantial amount.

Yes but you will need the right inverter and the right cable

It does. but besides that, an inverter has nothing to do with the solar panels and the battery portion of the system. Solar panels can charge batteries in a system with no inverter. Inverters give you 120VAC power. If you dont need 120VAC and are just planning on powering DC appliances, you dont need an inverter at all, just a solar charge controller.

Is this how all solar panels are rated of 4 hours full sun? For some reason I was under the impression the watts was the output under full sun for one hour

No, you are incorrect. As far as the cable or adaptor is concerned, most solar gens come with an MC4 to whatever plug your solar gen uses so it's likely you need nothing. MC4 plugs are the solar standard so solar gens normally come with the correct adaptors to handle MC4 plugs. Inverters have nothing to do with this portion of a solar system.

If a panel is rated at 130 watts, theoretically under perfect conditions it can collect 130Wh in 1 hour, or 520Wh in 4 hrs.
