Should have held out, got my pair for 18$ more seems solid, even with my thick socks on just loosen it all the way and chug along

Fantastic hiking shoes imo. Saved my bacon a few times due to mud / rain. Very comfortable and excellent ankle support.

Been using these for years for daily dog walks in the park and hiking all kinds of rocky / mountain / creek hikes in NE PA. Durability / grip / comfort / waterproofing is fantastic, highly recommend.

I love my pair ! I use them strictly for disc golfing at a local course that is a legit TREACHEROUS HIKE lol. They have treated me well.

There's another version that has a sock sleeve instead of laces and I struggled to get my wide feet in those. This version of the shoes are great and highly recommended -- I just hate that I have to get them dirty so I have an extra pair for casual wear and another for trail hikes. haha

The opening is elastic. You can put it on like a sock.

edit: oh this is the goretex version so it doesn't look that elastic. the regular version is like a sock.

Used this for my visit to Banff last November, and it saved my life. Hiked 10+ miles uphill and downhill 4 days straight. Very comfortable and insulated. Heavy snowy mountains ain't got nothing on this baby. Highly recommend.
