I think (?) I paid 10 or 12 bucks. But it only shows up as an upgrade option in the eshop after you have the switch 1 game. https://portkeygamessupport.wbgam...o-Switch-2

you could also borrow a friend's hard copy of the game and upgrade that way, according to reddit, but that's some slytherin stuff right there

It's a good game though I've only played the Xbox version; hear it has performance issues on switch 1 though is better on 2.

Free to play on Xbox Game Pass. I just beat it and really liked it. For 11$ if it plays well on the switch (no experience with) its definitely worth it.

So the Switch 2 digital deluxe version of this is $42. If I buy this discounted switch 1 version can I then just immediately upgrade to the switch 2 version? Wouldn't that be like $21-23 instead of $42? Does that work and is it that easy?

All switch versions are a $10 upgrade to switch 2. So, in short, yes.

Can confirm. I did this today. 1. Buy the Switch 1 version of the game.2. Wait for it to start downloading. 3. Go into the eShop and search for either the Switch 2 standard ($10) or deluxe ($15) and purchase it. 4.
