I was considering this because the people who built the house installed some "crap" cheapo toilets (delightful pun), and we have bidets installed on top of them, but you're right, I've had bidets break all the time... Oddly, enough, my dad has taken apart pieces of his broken bidet and sold them individually on ebay and actually made some money from it. I guess there's a high demand for parts since they break so easily.

Not really. I have the Harow, which is basically the same thing. I bought 3, 1 had the infrared being slow. So they sent me another pice of bidet that included the electrical. Just pull up and out. It's held together by tabs.Basically tjere is the toilet piece and the bidet piece.Works great. Harow has good customer service
