Not a great deal. This is a 2024 tv, and the 2025 version of this 98" tv (QM7K) was on sale for $1,800 a few weeks ago.

I think $8k regular pricing is a little exaggerated

I haven't seen this below $2000. The QM6 was $1800 a few weeks ago though.

Eh... The 2024 model was actually reviewed better by most. The QM7K is slightly worse in most aspects other than reflection handling. I had both. After updating the QM751G to V201 firmware (color accuracy and motion was worse before that), it looked better than the QM7K in every way. I returned the QM7K, and still would've even if they were the same price.

I'm guessing you mean the QM6K, as there was no QM6. They jumped from Q6 to QM6K with the 6 series. The QM7 is a FAR superior TV to the QM6K, especially with the updated firmware that fixed the motion and color accuracy issues.

Yes. I was referring to the QM6K. And I agree that this QM7 aeries is superior to the QM6K.

I have the 98 QM7k for $1999 in July. I bet it goes to this price again real soon. No brainer to get the QM7k and not the QM7. You aren't going to replace it anytime soon, might as well get the better one for $200 more

And in another year of software development the QM7K will surpass the QM7. They are just constantly playing catch up with the hardware capability.
