T-Mobile performs poorly on QCI7 (Mint and every other T-Mobile MVNO) when it's overcrowded, especially in places like Costco or a stadium. However, T-Mobile has the best raw download speeds when it's not congested. One reason for such performance is that almost all name-brand T-Mobile's own plans run on QCI6, as does Google Fi. So, every T-Mobile MVNO will have a bad time (except Google Fi) when congested.
Only a select few Verizon postpaid plans run on QCI7. All other MVNOs (Visible+, Visible+ Pro, Total 5G, 5G+, Spectrum) and Verizon Wireless run on QCI8. Then, at QCI9, all other deprioritized plans, like Visible Base, Total Base, and select US Mobile Warp, are found.

no clue what 25.25 is for a recovery fee.. ive had 3 lines with mint mobile now for 4 years and never paid over the 180 for each one for a year.
if you get a NEW number that is considered like a NEW line... and who cares what you do with your old number?

You mean... when you tested the data at the LOCATION X, Mint had faster speeds. And I can say the same thing about Visiable... when I was at LOCATION X, Visible had the faster speeds.
Really, you need to research your state and your area and see who has the best towers where you live.
I also came from a Verizon family plan so I know what kind of speeds I should be getting at my home address and it was nowhere close to the same.
You're right in that in can vary per city but it would seem Visible is not a good choice in big city areas. I'm in California.
Do you have Visible's low-tier plan and can attest otherwise?

Oh also I was told by a mint rep that I would have to port out and back in to use that plan since it's for new customers only.
I also get a free Apple Watch line with visible+.Oh, and my annual plan also came with a free iPhone.
