Keep the 20" and 24" and give me two 28". With airline it is either check in or carry on there is no need for the in between.

Not worth it. Check the 1 star reviews first. And...it's ABS+PC (like what ...99%+1%? 😁). You should get 100% PC (polycarbonate). Trust me, it matters!

Agreed, though the nesting luggage set is nice for storage.

20' is a carry on. Which is useful.
24' is also a better option for check-in to comply the weight requirements.
The luggage weight increases with 28in version and fillimg a 24-in can make you reach weight lomit but for 28in its so easy to exceed it.

20" bag (22.74 X 14.76X8.86) is just over the limit for carry-on on most airlines (22X14X9) but I agree you shouldn't have a problem in most cases. As far as the weight limit it all depends on what you put in the bag. If it is mainly clothes then you'll probably run out of space in the 24" before you reach the 50lb limit. Especially if you have anything fluffy like jackets, pillows, comforter.

No that is not true. With clothes you can reach to the 50 lbs for 24 in version. Especially if you are opening the expansion.
The issue is if you ever try to fill 28 in one with clothes you're almost definitely over the limit. The empty weight itself also increases.
So 28-in becomes only useful if you are going to fit a long item in the luggage. Putting sth big in a cross. It will be risky to put sth in the check-in luggage for breakage anyway but there may be some cases you need the 28-in. Still it doesnt make sense to have two 28-in versions. I'd rather get multiple 24-in then 28-in.

Well next time you go to the airport stroll by any international counter and see what most people are using for their check in luggage.

I personally like the suitcase that expands when I need. I don't think these suitcases expand.

These are good deal if you plan to use them for anything else than airline checkin.
The first time you use it for checkin, chances are very high your broken suitcase comes back to you on the conveyer in an open basket container all tied up with strings. ABS does not stand the abuse checkin suitcases go through while in transit. Opt for PC or better.

24inch is pretty useless, I have one and it almost never get used. always end up using 28/30"inch for checkin baggage, esp international travel.
