The 4070 Ti is maybe 10% better than the 4070 Super, and the CPU is maybe 10% worse. But most of us are GPU bound not CPU bound. HP is a bit more compact and arguably a cleaner look. If you trust the seller, I think the HP is a better buy.

I do have a $5 coupon on both and 3% cashback, very close to pulling the trigger. The GPU is worth $450 on it's own so I couldn't even build this thing for close to the same price. Only thing is possibly better BF deals, and likely a eBay BF coupon at minimum.

They're probably "refurbished" because nvidia is already a gen ahead and about to release a refresh, and intel is on a new platform. Tech moves so fast everyone is jumping onto the next thing marketing-wise. How many people are really sending their entire PC back in for replacement within a year? More likely returns or never even sold at retail and for the sake of warehouse space they sold the stock to a third party and just brown boxed to sell as "refurbished."
