The 83 inch LG B4 comes across as a huge OLED bargain, with picture quality often described as essentially C4 level for far less money. It is praised for strong gaming support, including 144 hertz refresh and DTS audio, and the size jump makes it especially compelling for large rooms or viewing from around 10 feet. The main caution is brightness, which matters most in very bright, window filled spaces or when mounted high over a fireplace. A strong value pick if you want a big OLED without paying C4 prices.
OLED upgraders chasing a first big-screen purchase, because the size jump is substantial at 10 feet and the price is being treated as a strong value.
Basement movie watchers with controlled lighting, because the 83-inch panel looks great when reflections are limited and brightness is less of a concern.
Gamers wanting a huge living-room screen, because it supports 144Hz refresh and handles Xbox Series X well.
Fireplace setups where the screen sits high, because the large size matters more than peak picture quality and the image still looks good mounted above a mantel.
Bright, window-filled rooms, because the 83-inch B4 is noticeably less bright than higher-tier models and that limitation matters most in strong ambient light.
Shoppers comparing against a brighter premium OLED, because the B4 is described as dimmer than the B5 even though the panel and processor are otherwise similar.
People who need built-in USB 3.0 storage speeds, because the ports are likely USB 2.0 instead.
