This is a bare bones PC, no ram, no ssd. By the time you add 16G ram and 500g SSD and a windows license you are going to be paying far too much.

You can do it with a mini pc, which could run you 150-250 depending your budget. If you just want home assistant with less tinkering, get a pi4/pi5 and a ZigBee USB (for ZigBee devices). Then get yourself an SSD and hook them up so it boots from SSD instead. How you do it is up to your budget and set up comfort.I'm currently running pi4 with 2.5 SSD to sata to usb3. Ethernet to network. ZigBee USB.It runs my home automation for ZigBee, matter server, ddns, wireguard, mqtt for my ZigBee and frigate.Uses maybe 1.7gb ram at average weekly while load capacity average is 25% in the last week. It's great. Love it. Have it hooked into all of my home
