While I don't like how the flavored Cheerios add so much sugar, realize all cereals are largely carbohydrates. Oats, wheat, rice, barley, rye all have carbs. Carbs as a group aren't bad for you in fact dietary fiber, which is considered very good for you, is also a carb and is found in cereals.

2g of dietary fiber.
Nutritionally, this is Count Chocula with 6g of added pea protein per serving

I'm not sure why you're getting downvoted. You're not saying anything about carbs being bad for you, and as someone that likes to understand his macros I appreciate knowing how much added sugar there is. For a "protein" cereal it's telling that the 2nd ingredient is sugar.

12 gm per cup . Too much sugar. Could have been a good high protein choice but way too much sugar added

I recently bought a box of this and was surprised just how sweet it is. I mix some of it with other less-sweet cereals.

You're better off eating a protein bar than this. 24 g of carbs for only 1 cup

Not just that. Two of the other ingredients are also sugar. Corn starch is sugar. And, the rest is awful oils.

Don't let this trick you into thinking it's healthy. It's the opposite.

Best to avoid cereals entirely, go with some boiled freakin eggs or avocado for breakfast.

Interest... this box locally says on the nutrition label "contains bioengineered ingredients" which isn't shown the screenshot of the label here. Literally every box I picked up today was bioengineered... barf
