These are not NAS drives at all. The power on spec is only 2400 hrs/year which is only 100 days. A NAS running 24/7 like majority do are not the target for this drive at all.

AI is in a bubble, but its in a hardware bubble now more than anything and that will eventually break.

Either AI wont be as useful or a new breakthrough will come through making our current ram/sdd/hdd/cpu requirements obsolete and youll see a flood of this stuff come available cheap.

Agreed. I've lost data twice with Seagate drives. Never had a failure with WD. Maybe anecdotal, but getting burned twice is hard to overcome.
