They're toys for kids -- what did you expect?

While I don't have these exact models, I do have a bunch of really "cheap" walkie talkies, and they're my go-tos for camping with a couple of families around, it lets the kids run wild around the campground and still have a quick and easy way to bring them back for dinner.
I bought a pair.

Are these programmable? I presume not directly, but like with cheap baofengs - with a special (not expensive) cable.

I like to compare these to the old Radio Shack talkies we got as kids. They were junk. These are not. Many people use these for local transmissions. I saw one in our local Best buy. They're not toys really because they are well made

If you were traveling in two vehicles, could you use these to communicate between them? I've always hated using cellphones because people text and that wastes time.

If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code.

This brand was recently featured by Project Farm. They were some of the worst performers.

That's the guy who sounds like Kermit -- in so that he doesn't regulate the pitch of his voice (it tends to increase in pitch the longer the sentence)....
