This is the 8MP version, the newer 16MP version is only 30ish more and is on sale too: https://a.co/d/5JCFSkC

They have so many cams to choose from. I am in the process of buying a reolink system.
I found this a lot of help.

Note that the 16mp version is powered only with Poe, not AC. It is also not Wi-Fi, it only delivers video through your wired network. Both seem to be great cameras, just depends on what the buyer needs to work with their setup.

Reolink PoE connectors also have an AC connector if you need that... PoE is far better than WiFi and allows you to install this where you're not likely to have an AC outlet.

Yeah - I don't think that's true with the Elite Pro Floodlight (Pro = POE, non-Pro = 120V), and Amazon reviews confirm it.

I have the non-pro Elite Floodlight - two of them - because I had existing floodlights/outdoor sconce that I replaced with the Elite Floodlight.

Everyone saying PoE is always better clearly doesn't have an 80 year old home with stucco walls and no attic.

Agreed, if replacing existing AC floodlights, the hardwired AC version makes the most sense.

Posted this in the PoE thread as well. The TrackFlex Floodlight was announced a while back (but has yet to launch). That is going to be WiFi as well for those that want that over PoE. I'll likely hold out for the PoE version of that one. https://reolink.com/us/product/tr...ight-wifi/

Yup, the thieves have WiFi jammers now to block your signals. However, if your network wiring is more than 320-ft away from your camera, you may need to go with WiFi.

I suspect this is a Chinese company

I've been using WYZE for a few years. ( a us company of ex google engineers)

Just upgraded 1 camera to a floodlight last Friday

They are a little annoying as they really push the paid hosting.

I use reolink cameras with Frigate to host everything locally. They work great. The wifi camera I have also has ethernet support and you can buy a POE to ethernet/power splitter if you decide to make your wifi camera wired.
