Requires 18W-20W input, but does NOT indicate the charging output. Also does not indicate the charging protocol.

Probably. There seem to ones that look really similar under multiple random names for $8-$10 on Amazon. There wasn't any branding on the package just a product code CW130.

Came in a day and so far it works.

Output says 5W / 7.5 W / 10W / 15W and shows the MagSafe icon when charging.

Is it true that wireless charging uses about 30% more energy than the wired one?

Google AI says:
Wireless charging efficiency is typically around 70% for smartphones, but can range from 70% to 90% depending on the technology, with newer standards like Qi2 achieving higher efficiency due to magnetic alignment. This is less efficient than wired charging, which is often 90% to 95%. The energy loss is due to the electromagnetic induction process, which generates heat, and misalignment between the charger and the device.

Thanks.
I guess I will only use wireless charging when the power is free or when the iPhone charging port is broken.
But this $5 pad is still a very good price. Good to have one.

Mine started flaking out after about 3 days. Cheap for a reason I guess.

Is there a reason this wouldn't work with an android device that has a "magsafe" case?
