I'm sitting in this chair right now. You'll need a cushion for your butt. Pretty hard. But I'm cheap and it's fine for my WFH job

These chairs are very uncomfortable. My kids have them and I have the staples version that looks almost the same. Hard cushion, odd sitting position, low quality armrests... the Staples version is fantastic and very comfortable.

So.. if you're an adult that cares about comfort and will spend more than an hour per day in the chair, I would pass. We own 2 of them. Kids like them, me, not so much.

It's legit - but not long ago I canceled an order and not only did they still charge me - they charged me twice, once through PayPal and once directly from my card. So never again.
There are many sellers on AliExpress just like eBay, Amazon and Walmart. Most are good but like the other platforms mentioned some are not so good if there is a problem. I had two issues over almost 8 years. One sent me the correct item I had ordered and let me keep the wrong item they had sent. The other seller and I could not come to an agreement so I filed a dispute (just like eBay) with AliExpress. AliExpress refunded my money in full the same day and said I did not have to return the product. In my experience AliExpress has been very professional but not all sellers.

Do USA peeps get tariff fees if order from AliExpress?
No tariff fees for the US but there is tax in the same amount you pay in your state.

Code changed, use US1011. Chair was delivered quickly, and is about the same quality as the chairs that go on sale at Staples for $50.

Still so much misunderstanding on this.
Tariffs apply to all imported goods in one way or another. They are a initially assessed to the importer (ie. the seller). So, that's an additional cost the importer has to deal with.

From that point the seller decides how to handle it. Do they eat the cost? (spoiler . . . probably not)
Do they bake the additional cost into the original cost the buyer paid (by raising the pre-purchase price)?
Do they break out the cost and still pass it along to the buyer?
Bottom line is that you're very likely paying that additional cost one way or another because why they hell would the seller just eat the cost when they can just pass it along to the buyer. Companies are not charities and maintaining profit margins is very important to them.

Anyone who actually says the that the cost isn't getting passed along to the consumer is lying.

I assume what he was asking is if there was additional fees when the shipment arrived. I think everyone knows that there are tariffs and the customer pays that cost, but what's confusing is how and when they pay. Some places don't pay it at all, and the customer has to pay UPS or whomever the shipper is when it arrives. It's easy to make the call when the purchase happens before you pay, it's harder when you have no idea what the cost will be until it arrives and you potentially have to abandon your purchase.

In any case, my experience with aliexpress is that the tariffs are baked into the price at time of sale.
